Midwest Climate Resource Network

What is the CRN?

The Midwest Climate Resource Network (MCRN) is a library of resources for climate professionals in the Midwest.

The goal of the MCRN is to provide connections to resources that might otherwise be hard to find and to share and expand the knowledge and resources generated within our communities.

The resources included here have been selected because they are specific to the Midwest or Midwestern communities. In some cases, national resources have been included if they offer state by state data or analysis.

The resources shared on this site are free and open to the public to increase access to Midwest-centric data, case studies, model policies, maps, directories, and more.

Who should use this site?

Whether you are an educator, government official, advocate, student, practitioner, or researcher, we hope this site connects you to the resources and organizations who can advance your climate goals.

How to use this site

This tool curates materials hosted elsewhere, like an index or catalog. You can search by topic or state at this time. When possible, we have included links to the organization that has created or owns the resource for possible follow-up.

This site is continually being updated with new resources and the format will adapt as the content grows. If you would like to add a resource please use the “Add a resource” tab on the menu and it will be reviewed by our team.

The Midwest Climate Collaborative

The MCRN is a project of the Midwest Climate Collaborative (MCC), a multi-sector network working for a carbon neutral, climate resilient, interconnected Midwest region. The MCC responds to the climate crisis through the acceleration of climate action, knowledge generation, and leadership development. The MCC is hosted by Washington University in St. Louis.
